Lost Origins Gallery in partnership with the Fredericksburg Street Photography Collective and the DC Street Photography Collective presents "The Art of the Street," a day-long celebration of street photography in the nation's capital.

Where: Lost Origins Gallery and throughout DC
When: Saturday, September 21, 12-8 PM and beyond
What: A street photography shoot off, critique, and more
Cost: Free

During the day, head out into the streets of DC to shoot.

Back at Lost Origins that evening, submit your best photos of the day. Our panel of esteemed judges will award prizes for the best photos of the day!

Winners will have their images printed and displayed at Lost Origins Gallery for DC's "Art All Night" event Friday, September 27.

Sunday Feb 12 at 2 PM DCSPC Presents Two Street Photography Talks

DCSPC Members Chris Suspect and Mukul Ranjan will talk at the HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT Exhibition at Project Create Art Center at 2208 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., SE. Chris will present his work from Mexico and discuss how he navigates photography in different countries. Mukul will talk about how to approach people in street photography. If you haven’t seen the exhibit, its another opportunity to catch this first retrospective of the DC Street Photography Collective.

The show, “Hiding in Plain Sight,” is hosted by Project Create Art Center at 2208 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., SE. For the talks the gallery will open at 2:00 PM on February 12, 2023. (Anacostia Metro and free parking at the event space)
